Daniel is a Certified Enterprise Management Development (EMD) Adviser by the International Trade Centre (ITC); having fulfilled the requirements of the Tanzania Advisory Capacities for Export Competitiveness Programme; with access to ITC tools for consulting International and local SMEs on areas of Business Diagnostics, Strategy Development & Management and Training on Enterprise Competitiveness. He is a member of the ITC - EMD Global Network comprising of 49 experts, 144 advisers, and 129 associates certified by ITC in 22 countries under the umbrella of 4 regional hubs and 20 national centres; to offer training and consulting assistance to SMEs in respective Countries using EMD tools and materials. He is a member of the EAC Regional Information System for Export (www.eacexport.com) comprising 62 export coaches in the region and a member of the Tanzania Business Management Systems (BMS) Advisors Association. He does part-time lecturing with the Open University of Tanzania and Community Development Training Institute (CDTI), Arusha.

He has 6 years practical experience in Community Development Projects/Programmes and five years in Private Sector Development. He is currently serving a contract with the African Institute of Capacity Development (AICAD) – an autonomous regional institution committed to poverty reduction in Africa through human capacity development as a Country Programme Officer for Tanzania Country Office. His major areas of competences include but not limited to general business planning, export business planning, project proposal preparation, monitoring & evaluation. He has training capabilities on areas of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship & Business Development, Management & Leadership, Export Planning & Development, Project Planning & Management, Lobbying & Advocacy Techniques and Project Phase out Planning.
